Contemporary Worship

This Sunday is Consecration Sunday, the day on which we indicate our plans for support of the congregation during the upcoming fiscal year.

It will also be a contemporary service, with Chalice Sounds providing musical leadership. The band plans to perform "Our Vision".

It is also the Sunday when we collect non-perishable food for our community food center.

Collecting for Our Community Food Center

["I was hungry and you gave me food."]We collect non-perishable food and household supplies for our community food bank, St. Mark's Food Center. We can leave them in the large basket outside the pastor's office.

St. Mark’s Food Center will gratefully accept the following nonperishable items: breakfast cereals (especially cereals that are kid-friendly), white or brown rice, soups, canned chicken and tuna, canned vegetables, pancake mix (just-add-water variety) and syrup, applesauce and fruit cups, enriched pasta, condiments (ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise), coffee, toothpaste, bar bath soap, diapers, sanitary napkins, and 2-ply toilet paper.

Samachti B'omrim Li

On April 26, our Chancel Choir performed "Samachti B'omrim Li," a setting of Psalm 122 (in the original Hebrew) composed by Cantor Charles Osborne.
