Collecting for Our Community Food Center

["I was hungry and you gave me food."]We collect non-perishable food and household supplies for our community food bank, St. Mark's Food Center. We can leave them in the large basket outside the pastor's office.

In July, the Food Center is especially looking for tins of tuna or Spam.

St. Mark’s Food Center will gratefully accept the following nonperishable items: breakfast cereals (especially cereals that are kid-friendly), white or brown rice, soups, canned chicken and tuna, canned vegetables, pancake mix (just-add-water variety) and syrup, applesauce and fruit cups, enriched pasta, condiments (ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise), coffee, toothpaste, bar bath soap, diapers, sanitary napkins, and 2-ply toilet paper.

Volunteers Needed

We need volunteers to provide donuts and bagels for the time before worship on Sunday mornings. Please let Pastor Janet Moore know if you can help for a week or a month.

We also need volunteers to prepare communion beginning in August.

Thank You

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Yard Sale and Bake Sale with contributions, time and labor, and purchases. We raised over $2800 for the ministries of our congregation. Afterwards, we donated the remaining items to local charities: Fair Acres, Community Action, Purple Heart, Wings for Success, the Life Center of Eastern Delaware County, and Nana's Attic.
