Ways You Can Help in the Wake of Harvey

Here are some ways you can help those suffering from Hurricane Harvey.

Collecting for Our Community Food Center

["I was hungry and you gave me food."]We collect non-perishable food and household supplies for our community food bank, St. Mark's Food Center. We can leave them in the large basket outside the pastor's office.

In September, the Food Center is especially looking for pasta, pasta sauce, and mac & cheese.

St. Mark’s Food Center will gratefully accept the following nonperishable items: breakfast cereals (especially cereals that are kid-friendly), white or brown rice, soups, canned chicken and tuna, peanut butter, canned vegetables, pancake mix (just-add-water variety) and syrup, applesauce and fruit cups, enriched pasta, condiments (ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise), coffee, toothpaste, bar bath soap, diapers, sanitary napkins, and 2-ply toilet paper.
