"The Paper Crop", by Gowri Iyer. Her handmade cards (and her web site) look so professional that we had to check to make sure they were "hand made or home made" by her -- but they are! |

Scootietutu has play tutu's, Barbie beds with handmade bedspreads and pillows, and fabulous doll clothes for Barbie. Wow! Handmade outfits! |

"Scrapbooks 2 Go" by Joanne Drozd. Scrapbooks are really popular way for creating visual memories of special events, and make great diaries too. Those of us with aging memories wish we'd done this when we were younger, since so many things we'd like to remember have gotten fuzzy. Joanne is offering great items to enhance your scrapbooks along with cloth necklaces, baby jackets and blanket sets. Her daughter, Rebecca, makes the jewelry and some other items like painted gourds, so they have a lot to offer. |

"Unique Boutique Paper Creations" by Tamika Jefferson. We will always need these. |

About our 2 RafflesCraft RaffleWe have many donated craft items, by our guest crafters and members of our church, that are shown on a table, each with a number on it. You can purchase as many tickets as you would like ($1 per ticket or 6 tickets for $5), write your name and contact information on the tickets and put them into the boxes with the numbers that correspond to the items you would like to have. [This type of raffle not only increases your chances of winning, but also, if you do win, you will be assured of winning only what you wanted.] Then at 4:00 p.m., someone (who has purchased no tickets) will blindly reach in and draw out a ticket for each box, and the person whose name is on the ticket will be contacted. You do not need to be present to win.

50/50 RaffleThe other raffle is a 50/50 raffle where one buys tickets (again put your name and contact information on them), and if you win, you get 50% of the income from the 50/50 raffle, and Marple Christian Church gets the other 50%. The Craft Fair, including the craft raffle, is a fund-raiser by the Christian Women's Fellowship of Marple Christian Church, and the 50/50 raffle is a separate fund raiser by Marple Christian Church. All proceeds from the Craft Fair and raffles will be given by our CWF to Marple Christian Church so that it can continue doing its many good works and projects.* The church has several special projects, like 'Christmas families', who are families we do not know but are in our community who have had some catastrophic event, that we help at Christmas time; We also provide supplies and volunteers for providing meals to The Life Center of Delaware County (a homeless shelter in Melbourn between Upper Darby and Philadelphia at Market Street); etc.. There are too many good works to list here. For more information about some of our good works, check out our CWF pages and our activities page. Proceeds from the Craft Fair do not go to any particular project, but are designated for a special purpose which facillitates all our projects. |
Note to CRAFTERS: If you are a crafter and would like to join our next Craft Fair on October 20, 2012, click on Registration Form on the main page. You can either type in the information directly on the registration form (preferably) and then print it off or you may print it off and then write in the information. Mail the registration, with your check made out to "Christian Women's Fellowship", to the church (address is on both pages) so that it arrives at least two weeks before the Craft Fair. We have not provided a way to submit the registration by computer because payment needs to be sent in with the registration, and we are not set up to take credit cards. A check is okay since it will clear before the Craft Fair. Spaces indoors are assigned on a first-registered basis, and usually are gone by mid-summer. After that, there are spaces available outside on the lawn. For outside spaces, we cannot provide tent covering, but you are welcome (and encouraged) to bring your own sun/rain canopy for your display. Because we prefer to see a photo of your work to make sure it fits the hand-made criteria, we ask that you submit a photograph or several of your wares at the time of registering, or soon after, if you are able to. The photos will be used also for advertising on this web site.* To do so, either send in a clear photo with your registration, or (preferably) email the photographs as a jpeg, subject: "Craft Fair attn Pat Treat". To email the church, send to: If you are a registered crafter with us, there is no charge for advertising on this web site. *You are not required to advertise (please let us know clearly on your registration form if you do not wish to be mentioned, or just to have no photos, on our craft fair web site. For more information, click on Crafters' Invitation. |
