First Sunday of the Month
This coming Sunday is the first Sunday of the month. That's the Sunday on which we bring food for the community food bank.
Our contemporary worship for this month has been postponed to August 8. Our band, Chalice Sounds, will provide music.
Sympathy
Robert Kelsey, our “Growing in Ministry” consultant and a great friend of this congregation, died on Thursday, July 8, at 2:55 p.m. in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. His wife Sandra and children—Brent, Marnie, and Randi—were at his side. Their pastor, Shelly Davis, also was there. Jay Treat came by to lend his support. And Jeff and I were with the family until about 2:00 p.m. after they took Bob off the ventilator.
Please keep the Kelsey family and the many who loved Bob in your prayers during this time of loss.
