Worship
The Lord's Supper is at the heart of our worship each week. At the Lord's table, we remember and celebrate the saving acts and presence of Jesus Christ. Gathered around the table, we recognize our oneness in Christ. All Christians are welcome to share in this communion with us.
Lay leaders share leadership with the pastor at the Lord's Table
On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate in a contemporary style of worship. On other Sundays, we celebrate in a more traditional style of worship. Our choir provides music to lift the soul. Chalice Sounds (our band) contributes to contemporary services about four times a year.
Our congregation sings both old and new hymns. "How Great Thou Art" is one of our favorite hymns. Some of our other favorite hymns are "Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee," "What a Friend We Have in Jesus," "Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty," "In the Garden," "In This Very Room," "Let Us Break Bread Together," and "Sweet Hour of Prayer."
Worship begins at 11:00 each Sunday morning (during the Summer, we begin worship at 10:00).
